Alice in Wonderland themed cookies
These lemon cookies go really well with the Alice in Wonderland cake and cupcakes for a themed party.

Alice in wonderland themed cake, Cheshire Cat inspired!
In this video I show you how I made this awesome Alice in Wonderland themed cake, inspired by the Cheshire cat character!

Recipe for the cake
Ingredients:
3 cups plus 9 tablespoons (555g) all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt (don't use it if you use salted butter)
1/2 cup (115g) sour cream or plain yogurt
1/2 cup (125ml) milk
1 cup (2 sticks) (225g) butter, softened
1-1/2 cups (315g) white sugar
4 large eggs, at room temperature
Flavoring:
1st layer - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2nd layer - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract + 1 teaspoon lemon zest
3rd layer - 1 1/2 teaspoons strawberry flavor

Alice in wonderland cupcakes - Orange Cupcakes
These are Alice in Wonderland themed cupcakes made with an orange recipe.

Recipe for orange cupcakes
Ingredients:
● 1/2 cup (113g) butter, softened
● 3/4 cup (158g) sugar
● 1 teaspoon orange zest
● 2 eggs
● 1/2 cup (115g) sour cream or plain yogurt
● 1/4 cup (63ml) fresh orange juice
● 1-1/2 (210g) cup flour
● 1 teaspoon baking powder
● 1/2 teaspoon salt (don't add it if you use salted butter)
● 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF/ 180ºC degrees.
Line 12 cupcake tins with cupcake liners.
1 - Cream the butter, sugar and orange zest on medium speed for 2 minutes, until light
and fluffy.
2 - Add the eggs, one at a time. Then add the sour cream and orange juice.
3 - Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together in a small bowl.
4 - Stop the mixer and add the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
5 - Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin pans. Bake for 18 minutes. Let cupcakes sit
in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to rack to cool completely.

Mustache cake - Chocolate cake

Recipe for Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting
Ingredients:
2 cups (420g) sugar
1 + 3/4 cups (245g) all-purpose flour
1 + 3/4 cups (245g) all-purpose flour
3/4 cup (75g) cocoa powder
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup (250ml) milk
1/2 cup (125ml) vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup (250ml) boiling water
Directions:
1 - Heat oven to 350°F/ 180ºC. Grease and flour two 9-inch (23 cm) round baking pans.
2 - Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and
vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into
prepared pans.
3 - Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from
pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
Chocolate Frosting - the best I have ever tried
1/2 cup (1 stick) (113g) butter or margarine
2/3 cup (67g) cocoa powder
3 cups (360g) powdered sugar
1/3 cup (83m) milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency.
Add small amount additional milk, if needed. Stir in vanilla. Enough frosting to fill and cover the cake.
